Formats & Readers
Knowing which format to
use can be a little daunting at first. The following is a short overview
of which file type and reader you need for which reading device.
.pdf can be read
on PCs and needs a Acrobat
reader from Adobe
.lit formats are
read with Microsoft
Reader on hand held devices. Microsoft Reader is also available
for PC.
.rb formats are
for Rocket Reading devices and....use the erocket
reader can also be installed on a PC.
.pdb formats are
used on hand held devices with Palm operating systems installed.
Peanut
Press (now Palm Digital Media) and Aportis
both provide excellent readers for these files.
